Skidmore provides a free citation management software called Refworks. Refworks allows you to import citations, create bibliographies, and integrates with Word and Google Docs in order to help you manage citations in papers.

To make a Refworks Account: 

1. Go to https://refworks.proquest.com and click the “Create Account” link.
2. Fill in your information making sure to use your Skidmore email address (you can’t sign up with @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.).  
3. Once you activate your account (you'll receive an email with a link to complete the registration process), you’ll get access immediately and can get started managing your documents.
4. Add "Refworks Citation Manager" to your Word or Google Doc software.
5. Select "American Journal of Physiology - Consolidated (Skidmore)" style guide for correct APS formatting within Refworks Citation Manager.
