Search for books and eBooks within Lucy Scribner Library by using SearchMore. Remember to limit your results to books/eBooks when you've done a search.
BETA Library Catalog
We are currently working on a new version of our library catalog. While it still is in beta testing, feel free to try it out and provide us with feedback.
Use WorldCat to search libraries across the country and world and then request the book using InterLibrary Loan (ILL) (5-8 business day delivery time).
Request Book Chapters
While books are physically sent to the library, a book chapter can be requested and is sent electronically as a PDF. If you only need a single chapter from a book, use the "Book Chapter" form in your ILL account. You'll have access to the PDF within 1-3 business days.
InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
Pay special attention to Subject terms (usually hyperlinked) used in bibliographic records for more related books of the same subject.
For books we don't own, you can request them thru Interlibrary Loan.
Don't forget to browse library stacks for books didn't come up under your keyword search but are related to your topic(s). Pay close attention to the shelves where you found useful books.
Google Scholar is a web search engine of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including books, abstracts and articles. It is a Google search for scholarly literature. Remeber to change Settings (from the top menu bar or the triangle drop down icon on the right) in Google Scholar to get the links to full-text articles Lucy Sribner Library provides appear on your Google Scholar search results.
