Hoge Building (Yes, It's Pronounced Like the Sandwich)

The Lucy Scribner Library's on-campus auxiliary shelving unit is housed on the first floor of the Hoge Building. Located a few steps northeast of Harder Hall and just behind CIS, materials stored in the Hoge Building include:

  • periodicals (journals, magazines, and newspapers) in print and on microfilm and microfiche;
  • all other microfilm and microfiche;
  • select reference titles and books.

[Note: "Current periodicals" (from the last year or so) are still shelved on the first floor of the library next to the DVDs.]

Skidmore College students, faculty, and staff have access to the materials shelved in Hoge through a variety of methods. Visit the Hoge Building website for more information.

Hoge is equipped with a photocopier/printer and a microfilm and microfiche reader/scanner.
