Know Your Library

Visit the Writing Center!

At the Writing Center, assignments are a breeze. Writing center tutors are great resources for any written assignment! Visit them on the fourth floor during walk-in hours for some help, or, better yet, make an appointment in advance with one of the many tutors available!

Larger Than Life

Scribner Library's folio collection, located on the Fourth Floor, houses the library's collection of over-sized books.

Need a computer?

If the array on the first floor are all taken, or if you're looking to be away from the hustle and bustle, have your pick from the computers available on the fourth floor - and don't forget the printer!

Private Study Carrels for Seniors

A study carrel consisting of a small room with a built-in desk and a chair with a door

When you're working on a thesis, capstone, or research-intensive project, it can feel like you never leave the library. Make the move permanent--for your research, that is--by renting a private study carrel for the duration of a semester. You can learn more about requesting a study carrel here.

Open Study Carrels

If you're not a senior, but you're still looking for a private place to study, don't despair! Open study carrels can be found throughout the library. Try working in a third floor carrel for some extra peace and quiet, courtesy of the "Quiet Floor".

Lock it up!

A series of lockers with dark, wood-paneled doors

Seniors--don't have a private study room, but still want to keep your research in the library? Rent a research locker to hold all of your materials and sources.
