Students, community members, local governments and organizations alike convene in the second floor GIS Lab. GIS is a combination of information, techniques, software, and creativity to present, analyze, manipulate, and interact with data that is geographically referenced.

Everyone's Got a Podcast! Do You?
LEDS (Learning Experience Design & Digital Scholarship Support) provide educational support in areas like audio and video recording as well as other technologies like VR. There's one recording studio in their 2nd floor department and two more studios in Media Services in the basement.

The library print collection spans four floors and offers students access to over 350,000 books. Scribner Library books are organized according to the Library of Congress Classification system.
Something Borrowed...
If Scribner Library doesn't have the book that you're looking for, don't despair! Try Interlibrary loan! The Interlibrary Loan office, located on the second floor of the library works tirelessly to make sure you have access to the resources you need.
Study Buddies Welcome...Or Not
Is your MB107 project making you feel like a CEO? Reserve a conference or group sized room to study with your classmates for up to 2 hours at a time. Reserve a room online using this link, or use the console outside any given room. You can also use the rooms by yourself if you need a quiet moment away from noisy roommates.
Find the Fish
Displayed prominently in the East of the 2nd floor is the Saratoga Springs Satellite Reef, which was part of a 2022 exhibition at the Tang Museum. Part of the reef is now housed in the library. It's one of the many artworks that you can find throughout the building and list in our Art in the Library guide.
